Dear ACTRIS Community,

We warmly invite you to take part in an intercomparison workshop for chemical ionization mass spectrometry to measure condensable vapors in September 2022, Leipzig, Germany. The workshop is organized by University of Helsinki (ACTRIS Centre for Reactive Trace Gases In Situ Measurements - CiGas) together with TROPOS in collaboration with the OrGanic Tracers and Aerosol Constituents - Calibration Centre (OGTAC-CC, CAIS-ECAC). Please, find more information below and enclosed.

Invitation:
Intercomparison campaign of chemical ionization mass spectrometry to measure condensable vapors at TROPOS

Place: Tropos, Leipzig, Germany
Time: September 19th – September 30th, 2022 (tentative)

What we offer:
a) 2-weeks of chamber experiments including alpha-pinene oxidation, NOx dependency and sulfuric acid runs. The exact plan depends on the interests of the participants.
b) intercomparison between different instruments participating to the workshop giving more insight of the transmission and sensitivity of the instruments

Due to space limitations, we may need to restrict the number of participants. The participants need to cover their own costs (sending of instruments, possible travel & accommodation costs).
